Walk of Witness

Good Friday

Meeting for a short reflection and worship and starting from Emmanuel Baptist Church the group made their way to the first stop of All Saints Church, here we reflected on the innocence of Jesus. Then on to St Mary’s RC Church with the focus of Jesus carrying his own cross, ‘If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily.’  The Walk of Witness continued stopping first at the United Reform Church, then The Salvation Army, The Moor, and walking through the town handing out hot cross buns with invitations to join any of the churches for their Easter services, we finished at King Charles the Martyr Church with a short service led by Revd Bill, concluding with the hymn There is a Redeemer.
