World Mission - message from Ruth Bowen: Last week the Circuit World, Church & Society meeting met. Whilst the brief of the committee is wide, we’ve previously placed our emphasis on the World Church, recognizing that we are all one body and that our brothers and sisters across the world often face different challenges from us. It’s Lent very soon. Please can you help? The World Mission Fund (WMF) funds mission partners (amongst other things). Robbie & I were previously funded by them, both in Sierra Leone and The Gambia. A mission partner lives in a different place, takes the love of Jesus his words & actions to that community, but learns to share and receive in that place too – the gospel of Christ in Action. Mission partners need our prayers, but they also need funding.  Lent Challenge Fund Raiser  Could, you this Lent, take part in this exercise each day, building a little sum of money that will contribute significantly to the WM Fund? Thank you. Every blessing, Ruth Bowen.  (a copy is attached to the notices received by email)

Eco -Tip from A Rocha: Celebrate Spring, immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of the season- breathe in the fragrance of blossoms, observe budding catkins, note different birdsong, or use the Pl@ntNet app to identify spring flowers. Nature can boost your happiness so spend time in your garden, or on your balcony, and in local green spaces. Dedicate quality time to appreciate creation’s beauty and thank God for the hope that Spring can bring.

Eco Lent Thought:  From A Rocha Romans 8 reminds us that the pain and suffering we experience is not just a human experience but one shared by God's wider creation. We live in a moment in history where we see species and habitat loss at shocking rates; humans - particularly in richer contexts - are too often living disconnected lives from nature and where crucial carbon sinks that naturally capture carbon are disappearing. Can we do more to protect our local, national, and international environment?

In our prayers, we continue to hold the following before God: from Falmouth: - we pray for, Moira, Ray Baker, John Cotterell, Sandy White, Hazel’s son Matthew, the Brokenshire Family, Daphne Rundle, Barbara Toyne, Pauline & Peter Cocks, Dorothy Penman, Gwen Dunstan, Gill Wilkinson, and the residents and staff of care homes, especially Langholme and the folk at Abbeyfield.

Pastoral Contact:  for March is Ginny
