Eco- News: The WWF are happy to announce that according to the IUCN African rhino populations have increased to an estimated 23,290 rhinos at the end of 2022, that's 5% more than in 2021. There are now around 6,487 black rhinos, and 16,803 white rhinos in Africa. This is the first increase in white rhino numbers since 2012.

Eco -Tip: from A Rocha UK: Prepare now and give a bird a home in 2024. It might seem to be a strange time to be thinking about bird boxes, but this is the season in which many of our resident birds slowly begin the process of looking for nest sites for next year. Therefore, it is a really good idea to get as many new boxes up as you can, before the end of the autumn season, as it will make it more likely for boxes to be used next spring. See A Rocha website for more details nest box tips.
