Eco Church Caring for Creation

Eco Church Caring for Creation

The Falmouth Methodist Church Eco Group met at 10am this morning to begin a litter pick on the streets around the area that we worship in as part of our Eco Church initiative ‘caring for creation’.

Seven volunteers walked around collecting litter for just over an hour and when we all met again outside KCM Hall we had seven sacks of refuse. Some items were taken for recycling and the rest will be shown to the congregation tomorrow during our Café Worship Eco Service to highlight the importance of recycling and litter collection. We plan to make these regular events so check our notices for the next one.

The Café Worship starts with food and drinks from 10am with the service beginning at 10.30 at King Charles the Martyr Church Hall in New Street. All are welcome to this informal service.
