Sea Shanty: We will share a united service with KCM on Sunday 16th June . This will include a Shanty band and singing group.
Christian Aid Book sale: The final tally for the Christian Aid Book Sale is £435.82. Whilst that is down on last year's takings of £670, I think in these cash-strapped times it was not too bad. Of the leftover books, 2 bags of Christian books were donated to the appeal for Christian books for Africa. Two large boxes of pre-school children's books were gratefully received by the Daisy May Nursery on the Tregoniggie Industrial Estate. And all the other boxes of books (around 20 - a campervan-full!) were taken by Sue Ryder, British Red Cross and Cancer UK in Falmouth. So, in the end, lots of charities have benefited! Once again, my thanks to all the faithful volunteers who gave their time to help make the book sale a success. All the best, Euan
