Calling all crafters!

Dear Friends, Are you, like many, struggling to find inspiration to get on with your next project? Would it help to ‘spend a little time’ with like minded people? If so, you are invited to be part of an online gathering to share some crafting time together over tea and cake (please provide your own!) We meet on Tuesdays at 1pm, using ‘Zoom’, to share ideas, seek inspiration, set time aside to craft, or simply to chat with friends, something that can be so hard to do right now.

Dracaena Centre Donation

Dracaena Centre Donation

Dear Lord, we want to praise you for the generosity of the members of Falmouth Methodist Church who kindly raised an amazing £820.00 to give to the Dracaena Centre so that many young people will receive a gift this Christmas.

In the accompanying photograph Rev’d Andrew Mumford is presenting a cheque to Dawn from the Dracaena Centre during a morning service.

Carols on The Moor

Carols on The Moor

It may not have matched the choreography of Strictly but the socially distanced singing of Christmas carols outside Falmouth Methodist Church this afternoon certainly spread some joy on The Moor; a dedicated group sang traditional Merritt carols and favourites like Away in a Manger.

Advent Calendar, Have you seen it yet?

The accompanying pictures are taken from our advent calendar from yesterday on day 9.

This colourful display is regularly updated by Jean and tells the visual story of the run up to Christmas with lots of interesting facts included.

We are back

Services begin again @ FMC

From this Sunday, 6th December, services will resume at Falmouth Methodist Church. Social distancing will still be in place and there will be no singing allowed but we shall have the shared joy of being able to worship together once again. There will, of course, be the addition of an online service for those who are unable to join us through the Falmouth and Gwennap Circuit webpage link.

Most of you will have already received The Regeneration Project Advent Calendar from the Regeneration Team .  We hope you will use this Calendar throughout Advent as you think of all that we have and others who are less fortunate than us.

All money raised will be shared between the Regeneration Project (Save Our Space), St Petrocs and Mind.

Rev Robbie's funeral

We are saddened that Government restrictions mean that only up to 30 mourners can be present at the funeral of Rev Robbie Bowen. However, as a result, the service will be live-streamed, so that everyone who wants to participate can be involved.

The service takes place on Saturday 14th November at 12.30pm. It can be viewed online at:

Sadly, as the country has once again been told to go into lockdown, our services for the rest of November have had to be cancelled. We hope to resume worship in our building on 6th December, if the Government permits.

Meanwhile, the online services will continue, and can be found via:

These are available from 10.30am every Sunday and Wednesday.
