You are welcome to join us for worship. Our Sunday Services are held at New Street Church Hall, which is in New Street, just behind the Parish Church of King Charles the Martyr.

Easter Sunday 31st March

Easter Sunrise Circuit Service at Gwennap Pit at 06.30am

 FMC at 10.30am Worship led by Revd. Andrew Mumford including Holy Communion.

At Mawnan Smith 10.30am, United Service, Worship led by Revd. Jonathan Froggatt including Holy Communion.

At Langholme 3.30pm Worship led by Mr. Paul Langford

Sunday 7th April

10.30am at FMC Worship led by the Café Worship team.

At Mawnan Smith 10.30am Worship led by Miss Jean Whetham

At Langholme 3.30pm Worship led by Ms. Karen Jones

After Sunday services, refreshments are served. Please stay and take the opportunity to have a chat and get to know us better.

Regular Activities

Stitchcraft: meet at the Princess Pavilion every Monday at 2pm. New members’ welcome.

Footsteps Café: Falmouth & Penryn Churches Together coffee morning, Footsteps is held every Thursday in the foyer of Emmanuel Baptist Church from 10-12 noon.  Hot and cold drinks and homemade cakes available.  All are welcome.  

Wednesday Welcome: meets on the first Wednesday in the month. The next dates are, 3rd April Falmouth Court Care Home, 1st May Flicka Donkey Sanctuary.  Please speak to, or telephone Jeanette to book.

 

Thursday 4th April 10.30am               Mid-week Holy Communion at New Street

Midweek communion at New Street. KCM members will also be invited to join us. A midweek communion service will be held on the first Thursday of each month, being led alternately by a Methodist minister and an Anglican priest, with both congregations warmly invited to join us.

 

 

Other Notices:

Circuit Zoom Prayer Meeting  You are invited to join on the first and third Tuesday of each month - 6.15 for 6.30pm. Revd. Jonathan will email the joining link to 'regulars' but if you would like to join please email Jonathan for the link.

Wellspring Celebration Weekend -  Worship, Teaching, Fellowship across the Cornwall and IoS District, 21st - 23rd June. More information about the Saturday and Sunday, as well as bio’s about speakers will be coming out over the coming weeks. Free transport will be provided. Please see FMC’s website for details.

Easter Offering: This year’s Easter Offering entitled ‘No Borders to God’s Love’ will be a Circuit Service at Stithians on Sunday 12th May and be followed by a Bring & Share tea and time of fellowship.

Fairwinds Café: We are hoping to use the café to hold FMC coffee mornings. At first this will be a monthly event, but we are hoping to extend it to fortnightly or even weekly depending on volunteers. If you feel that you would be able to help, please see one of the Church Stewards. Thank you.

Future Dates:

Visit from Charlotte Betts, the Connexional Property Development Manager who will talk with us at FMC about our future plans. On Friday 3rd May 10 -12, at New Street. All are welcome to attend.

Bluebell Walk: Saturday 11th May more details nearer the time.

Sea Shanty: We will share a united service with KCM on Sunday 16th June. This will include a Shanty band and singing group.

Homes & Gardens: Once again we would like to hold a series of visits to homes and gardens in the circuit. These visits are very popular and are a great way of raising money for the circuit and charities and for enjoying fellowship together. If you would like to take part please return the form to Jo Walker by 15th April. Everyone is welcome to open their garden/home whatever the size.

Eco Church: the next meeting will take place on Thursday 23rd May at 11am at Emmanuel Baptist Church following the Footsteps Café. Please do join us, all are welcome. Eco Events in the planning are 1st June Beach Clean, 2nd June Café service on eco matters, 21st June Eco Prayer Walk in Fox Rosehill Gardens led by Sarah.

 

Eco Tip

  Up to now (January 2024) we have not been able to accept toothpaste tubes for recycling. Recent industry and manufacturing changes have changed this, and we can now accept toothpaste tubes as part of your fortnightly curbside collections. Please ensure the tube is empty. (Toothpaste tubes - Cornwall Council)

Eco Easter Thought: Once you have enjoyed your Fair-Trade Easter eggs or chocolate, please remember to recycle all the packaging.
